Life’s razor sharp banister slices your tender skin as you slide down into reality’s deceiving pile of rock filled pillow cases
Misinterpretation, mistakes, deception, false presentation
There’s no turning back
Blood stains your freshly cleaned white linens
Painfully reaching the point of realization
No one’s there to catch you as you rapidly approach the end
Look who’s laughing now

  1. This one cuts deep, literally and figuratively. On my third read through I realized that the first line implies blood, but doesn't say it, then there is the second reference. Love it.

  2. Badass! I love the "Misinterpretation, mistakes, deception, false presentation"

Oh those damn pillow cases filled with rocks that we're brainwashed (or we brainwash ourselves) to believe will be there to cushion our inevitable fall.
